anticipatory I was standing on top of the Empire State Building. It has just gotten dark outside. I can see the Eiffel Tower on the horizon. There is a blonde girl taking a photo of this with her iPod. Her little brother is with her. We have a conversation. Suddenly her little brother is gone. I peer over the edge just in time to see him falling into darkness. I yell "your brother just fell off the Empire State Building!!" She looks at me and says something along the lines of "Oh, that happens sometimes. He's sort of a klutz."
I repeat "your brother just fell off the Empire State Building!!", but she still doesn't seem to care.
